Christmas light installation
We put the lights up on your house or business, and we come back after the holidays to take them down. You do not climb a ladder in November or stand on the roof in January.
Up before the season, down after it
Setup and takedown are booked together. You pick a setup window from November, and the takedown date is agreed at the same time, so nothing is left on the gutters into February waiting for someone to get around to it.
It is the same crew that works in trees the rest of the year, with the same bucket truck. High peaks, second-story gutters and the tall tree in the front yard are the ordinary part of the job for us, not the part that gets skipped.
Homes
Rooflines, peaks and gutters, windows and the front door, porch railings, shrubs along the walk, and trees wrapped from the trunk up into the limbs. Tell us what you have in mind, or ask us what the house suits and we will walk it with you.
Businesses
Storefronts, entrances, signs, and the trees along walks and in parking areas. Setup and takedown can be scheduled around your opening hours, so the work is done before your first customer arrives.
Christmas light installation across Columbus
We are based in Reynoldsburg, on the east side of Columbus, and put up Christmas lights across the city and the towns around it. Most of the houses we light are two-story homes where the hard part is the second-story gutter line and the peaks above it, which is exactly the height a tree crew works at all year.
Christmas light installation in Columbus runs on the weather as much as the calendar. Lights go up on dry days in November, before the gutters ice over, and come down in January on the date you booked. If a cold snap or a wet week moves a setup day, we call you and pick the next dry one together. Booking in October is how you get the week you want.
For businesses, we work around your hours, early before opening or after closing, so a storefront, an office entrance or the trees in a parking area are lit without a ladder in your doorway at lunch.

What customers say about the crew that puts them up
The work crew knew what I wanted them to do. They showed up on time and started to work, checking with me to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. They did a great job with cleanup. Eduardo was a pleasant person and professional with his job.
Eduardo was fantastic to work with. Quick to schedule and helpful by listening to what my goals and concerns were. I had a smaller project so he was able to squeeze me in the very next day after providing an estimate. Quality work that was reasonably priced.
I had reached out to get a quote after our Black Walnut Tree had some large branches break off in high winds. Ed made some recommendations and talked me through what branches he would remove. His team showed up on time and did a great job! Not only do our trees look great and healthy, but his team did a great job cleaning up the yard after.
These are from tree jobs, the same crew and the same bucket truck. Read all 18 reviews on Google.
What people ask before booking
When do the lights go up?
Setup runs from November. You pick a window when you book, and the earlier weeks go first, so booking in October is how you get the week you want.
When do they come down?
After the holidays, usually in January, on a date we agree when you book setup. You do not have to call us to remind us.
Do you light businesses as well as homes?
Yes. Storefronts, entrances, signs, and trees along walks and in parking areas. We can schedule the work around your opening hours.
Can you reach the high parts of the house and the tall trees?
Yes. We are a tree crew with a bucket truck, so second-story gutters, high peaks and tall trees are normal work for us rather than the part that gets left off.
Do you install Christmas lights outside Columbus?
Yes. We work out of Reynoldsburg across Columbus and the towns around it, from Dublin and Westerville in the north to Grove City and Lancaster in the south. The service areas page lists every town.
What does it cost?
It depends on how much roofline there is, how many trees, and how high they go, so we price it after a look. The quote is free, and nothing is owed either way.
